Public Information Evening on Bereavement
Living with Loss
As November is often a month for rememberance the Irish Hospice Foundation will host a public information evening titled ‘Living with Loss‘ on November 1st in the Alexander Hotel between 5.30 and 8.30
The evening aims to provide information on grief and the range of supports available to bereaved people.
The evening will feature a talk by John Lonergan, former governor of Mountjoy Prison on ‘Living with Loss’ and Former TD Mary O Rourke will give a personal reflection on loss.
Free Public Event
Members of the public who want to know more about bereavement are invited to attend this free, informal drop-in event. A number of bereavement support services will be available to provide information on the type of support they provide. Mary O Rourke will address the at group at 6.30pm John Lonergan will speak at 7.30pm.
