Forum 2013 – Collective Art Piece

Paying tribute to someone significant

In the lead up to Forum 2013 people throughout Ireland took part in creating a collective art piece; by decorating a small rectangle of hessian cloth with the initials in a way that reflected this person people paid tribute to someone significant in their lives.

Hundreds of pieces arrived in The Irish Hospice Foundation prior to Forum 2013 and many delegates took part on the day.

Art teacher, Aideen Gough used these tribute pieces to create a beautiful and unique collective art piece symbolising the  power of working collectively
