Registration Now Open
Registration for EGC 2024 is now open. Register now for early bird pricing. Regular fees apply starting August 1.
The registration fee includes attendance at all sessions, final programme, lunches, coffee/tea in breaks during conference days and Welcome Reception at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland on 11 November, 2024.

Submit Your Abstract
Call for abstracts is open. EGC welcomes a broad range of abstracts on bereavement and grief-related topics with a focus on research, education/policy or practice. For this year’s conference, we especially welcome abstracts on suicide bereavement, which will be curated into dedicated parallel sessions.
Submit your abstract on the EGC website by April 19.
Initial Speakers Announced
Some initial speakers for EGC 2024 have been announced, including:
- Samar Aoun, Perron Institute Research Chair in Palliative Care at the University of Western Australia and Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science.
- Dominic Campbell, Manager of Irish Hospice Foundation’s Arts and Cultural Engagement programme.
- Neil Thompson, independent writer, developer of online learning resources and a visiting professor at the Open University in the UK, who has published extensively on death, grief and bereavement.
