Bereavement training is central to The Irish Hospice Foundation’s Bereavement Programme.
We strive to provide accessible, high quality training for professionals, volunteers and others with an interest in learning more about bereavement.
Annual series of WORKSHOPS on loss and bereavement
Our 2020 workshops focus on a range of topics associated with bereavement, including children and adolescents, suicide and addiction.
Every year roughly 400 people take part in our workshops.
This is a series of introductory workshops and are targeted at professionals and volunteers who may wish to learn more about loss and bereavement and for those working with people who have experienced a major loss.
Professional accreditation is currently under application with the Irish Association of Social Workers and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
If you have other accreditation needs please contact us. A certificate of participation/attendance at workshops is available on request.
Our presenters represent a wide range of bereavement care practitioners from the voluntary and statutory sectors.
