Organise a Concert
Alan Connor organised this charity concert in the Sugar Club, Dublin to celebrate his father Shay’s great love of music and to commemorate the 21st Anniversary of the great Shay Connor who lost his battle with cancer in 2001.
Monroe’s Bar in Galway hosted a St Patrick’s Day concert on Facebook Live to raise funds for Rosabel’s Rooms. Rosabel’s Rooms was established by parents Suzanne McClean and Gary Monroe in collaboration with IHF, in memory of their beloved daughter Rosabel Monroe, who died suddenly and unexpectedly in April 2017, aged sixteen months.
Lip Synch Battle
The 5th year LCVP Class in St. Brigid’s College in Callan organised a Lip Sync Battle fundraiser for the entire school to compete in. Some of the amazing acts included The Two Johnnies, Justin Bieber, The Lion King and the Spice Girls.
Record a Charity CD
Sharon Shannon and friends (including Aoife O’ Donovan, Eleanor Shanley, Seamus Begley, Greg Cotter and The Brennan Sisters) recorded Songs for Leo, a poignant album to mark the death of her partner, Leo.
As Ambassador for Rosabel’s Rooms, Sharon also recorded Songs for Rosabel, a 12-track album in 2022 featuring tracks from herself, Hothouse Flowers, Nathan Carter, Paddy Casey, Lucia Evans, The Waterboys, The Stunning and more.
Carrie Haskins wrote and recorded a beautiful song, Love Will Never Die, about the loss of someone you love, and finding the strength to keep on living, in loving memory to her beloved parents, with all proceeds going towards supporting IHF.

Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets to a match, concert or other event. In the past fundraisers have successfully raised money via raffles for popular events like Electric Picnic and Bloom.
Hold a Themed Event
This ‘Samhain Gathering’ in Dublin was an inclusive, open gathering to celebrate Samhain, featuring live music and DJs, talks, a small exhibition and stalls selling art with donations for IHF.
