The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) has called on the government not to cut Specialist Palliative Care (SPC) spending in the forthcoming budget.
The call came on the eve of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day – a unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world – which takes place tomorrow (Saturday, 13th October). The theme for world day 2012 is “Palliative Care for an ageing population: living to the end.”
