Our policy work focuses on highlighting and informing the major issues and challenges of dying, death and bereavement, as well as providing evidence-based solutions.
To be effective in this work, we engage in a range of activities by contributing to policy formulation, responding to public consultations and making submissions to Government departments, Oireachtas committees and other key stakeholders.
Through these public consultations and submissions, we seek to inform and influence positive change in relation to a variety of policy issues related to dying, death and bereavement.
We submit evidence and information to government consultations, produce policy papers and guidance on key issues relevant to palliative, end-of-life and bereavement care.
