Prolonged Grief disorder (PGD) is a largely misunderstood disorder which effects up to 10% of bereaved people. It is characterised by serious impairment in functioning and an inability to engage satisfactorily with everyday life. PGD does not respond well to traditional therapy methods and new protocols are being developed to treat it.
