Grief in the Workplace (GITW) helps organisations and managers to respond effectively to grief situations that can arise in the workplace. These include helping managers to support staff appropriately around both personal and professional grief. It also involves helping workplaces to develop structured responses to grief situations such as Covid-19, suicide and developing bereavement policies.
“We recently engaged with IHF to deliver a workshop to our staff entitled ‘Grief in the Workplace’. This was delivered under a programme of wellbeing webinars we are offering to staff in response to the challenges of the pandemic. We believe the session was very beneficial to our staff and would have no hesitation recommending this workshop as of great value to any workplace. “
Eimear Leonard, Senior HR Business Partner, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform
