Forum 2015 – Dying to Talk: Conversations on End of Life in Ireland
Forum 2015 took place in Dublin Castle in September 2015. Dr. Katherine Sleeman of Kings College London delivered the keynote presentation and Mick Heaney delivered the Mary Holland Commemorative Lecture. There also featured a Death Café during which people could discuss death without expectations in an open, respectful and confidential space.

Forum 2013 – Length of Days, Quality of life
Forum 2013 took place in Dublin Castle in October 2013. The keynote speech was delivered by Professor Göran Hermerén with a response by Professor David Smith. The Mary Holland Commemorative lecture was delivered by Fergal Keane.

Forum 2011 – Resilience
Forum 2011 took place in Croke Park in October 2011. It was chaired by Mrs Justice Catherine McGuinness. The Forum included the launch, by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, of the Think Ahead program. The Mary Holland Memorial Lecture was delivered by Conor O’Clery with a response by Professor Tom Inglis.

The Forum on End of Life in Ireland was launched formally by then President Mary McAleese in Kilmainham Castle on March 11, 2009. The Forum was addressed by Dr. Maurice Manning, President of the Irish Human Rights Commission and the Forum was chaired by Marian Finucane of RTE.
