Unusually, the story is told from three different perspectives, that of the owner (photo, right)  manager and executive chef.  And if you’ve eaten in Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud and wondered how they do it – or if you haven’t, but wish you could try to do it yourself – the book includes an interesting selection of recipes, illustrated with lavish, full-colour, double-page spreads.
