We are delighted and so proud of the absolute powerhouse that is Dr. Suzanne McClean, psychologist and founder of Rosabel’s Rooms, who won the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards which took place at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin last Wednesday night.
Suzanne set up Rosabel’s Rooms, a child loss project which is now a national initiative, in partnership with us here at IHF, that is reaching out to bereaved parents and families all over Ireland.
Well known businessman Bobby Kerr said of Suzanne:
“Dr. Suzanne McClean was a most worthy winner of the Social category. Born out of the sudden and tragic loss of her baby girl Rosabel aged 16 months, Suzanne has created a unique service in Rosabel’s Rooms that provides compassionate support to grieving parents who suffer the loss of a child, regardless of the cause. She is an amazing example of someone who has turned personal tragedy into something positive and compassionate to selflessly help others.”
