How do I sign up to take part in 100 Miles in October?
To sign up and take part in the 100 Miles in October, you can join the 100 Miles in October 2024 Facebook Group and complete the online Registration Form.
If you are not on Facebook, that’s no problem. You can email [email protected], and we will send you details of how to sign up and set up your fundraiser.
Do I have to run 100 Miles in October?
You can take on the 100 miles your way. You can run, jog, walk or cycle your 100 Miles in October. You can do it with friends or family or on your own. It’s completely up to you how fast you go and what route you take. This is your personal challenge, and we want you to enjoy it whatever way works best for you.
How do I set up a Fundraising page?

How will the money I raise help Irish Hospice Foundation?
Taking part in challenges like 100 Miles in October helps to raise vital funds to support our work in end-of-life and bereavement care. To help show how your participation is making a difference, we will share stories and updates via the Facebook Group and by email about how you’re making a difference to the people we support.
When will my 100 Miles in October Pack arrive?
You will receive your Welcome Pack by post before 1st October. If you have any questions, email Emma on [email protected].
What’s in the 100 Miles in October Pack?
Included in the 100 Miles in October Pack is your limited-editionroyal blue IHF T-shirt, your welcome letter and details on the work of IHF.
Could I take on this challenge as part of a team?
Of course! Doing a challenge with others is motivating, fun and can be a brilliant team-building exercise. If you’d like support getting your community or workplace involved, please email Mairéad on [email protected].
Do I have to set up an iDonate Fundraising page?
No, but they really are a very easy way to fundraise. Because the funds raised are lodged directly into the IHF bank account, it means you don’t need to worry about collecting, recording or lodging.
If you would prefer to fundraise offline, you can request a sponsorship card by emailing Emma on [email protected].
I’m not on Facebook. Can I still take part?
Yes! Please contact our fundraising team on [email protected] and they will organise your 100 Miles in October Pack and provide you with details on setting up your own iDonate fundraising page.
How can I return my fundraising to Irish Hospice Foundation?
Once you’ve completed your 100 Miles in October, we’d be very grateful if you could return your donations to IHF.
If you have set up an iDonate Fundraiser, there is nothing for you to do. All of the funds you raised will be transferred directly to IHF by iDonate.
If you have other donations, you can get those funds to us via one of the ways listed below.
1. Online: You can donate directly to IHF on our website.
2. Bank Transfer / Lodgement: You can lodge funds directly to the IHF bank account using the information below. Please use your name as a reference and email [email protected] so we can let you know it has been received safely and send you a receipt and note of thanks for your kindness.
