The Irish Hospice Foundation has released the first of its Perspectives series of reports.
The report ‘The strategic importance of palliative care within the Irish health service – Perspectives on future service delivery‘ examines palliative care from an all-encompassing perspective, which includes primary, secondary and tertiary care, patients of all ages and diagnoses and all care settings. It examines issues and challenges in palliative care quality and cost and future demand for palliative services.
