Patrick Bewley, former managing director of the coffee and tea company Bewley’s died aged 77 on 26th December 2021 following a long illness.
Patrick was a huge force in the early days of Irish Hospice Foundation, launching the first ‘Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ fundraising event with our founder Dr. Mary Redmond in 1993. Initially in aid of Irish Hospice Foundation, the annual event then grew over the years to become one of the largest charity partnerships, supporting the hospice movement all over country and passing over to #TogetherforHospice in 2017.
The Board and Staff of Irish Hospice Foundation wish to express their deepest condolences to his family. Patrick was a true friend of Irish Hospice Foundation for many years and his legacy will live on.
