National Bereavement Forum

National-Bereavement-Forum-June-2022

We are delighted to announce our 5th National Bereavement Forum (NBF) , the first of which was held in Dublin in 2016. It is our first in-person forum in 2 years.

This event is for organisations or individuals who provide direct support to people who are bereaved and for those who support bereaved people in their day-to-day work, for example GPs, nurses, social workers, bereavement volunteers, therapists, chaplains, psychologists, frontline staff in information services, psychiatrists etc.

The forum brings those interested in bereavement care across Ireland together, to learn and connect. This year’s programme content is informed by our ongoing communication with our bereavement network members.

We are excited to announce that Beck Ferrari will be a guest speaker. She is a Child Bereavement Specialist, Cognitive Behavioral Practitioner and Clinical Co-Lead for the UK Trauma Council. She will give a presentation on ‘An understanding of trauma informed bereavement care’.

Tickets are free but you must book your place through Eventbrite. Read more about the National Bereavement Forum 2022 .
