Welcome to our COVID-19 Care & Inform hub, launched in April 2020, to keep you informed and supported if you’re facing dying, death or bereavement during the pandemic.
This material was developed through the acute COVID-19 pandemic phase. While circumstances have changed, it remains here as a record of that time.
Below you’ll find information on grief, funerals in exceptional times, supporting grieving children, resources for healthcare workers and support for carers.
Our COVID-19 Care & Inform hub is divided into 3 sections:
Grieving during COVID-19
Continuing COVID-19 restrictions mean some of the ways we traditionally mark our grief are still not possible. However, we can support ourselves and each other in managing our grief in new ways during this time.
Resources for healthcare
Information, resources and advice for staff to support working in end-of-life care during the pandemic. For those in hospitals, nursing homes, the community, primary care and residential care settings.
Support for carers
Caring for a loved one who is near the end of life can be particularly challenging, but in these times you may have even more concerns and questions. We are here for you.
